My abuelita was a devout Catholic, Curandera and a Santera who was and still is highly respected in Puerto Rico because some of these santeras I’ve come across here in the BX have zero respect, knowledge of their religion. She taught me how to prepare the holy water to use on the sick, the ill, especially the terminally ill. Special ingredients go in this bottle a small ceremony is done and sits on my boveda for blessings, many have no idea this exists.
