Burning Palo Santo candle is also a form of ritual known to bring in the positive that you cleared when you used Sage to clear and cleanse your space and free it from negativity, but like sage smudging many cant burn the actual herb/wood or they cant deal with the smoke produced by both.

This Palo Santo candle is used to bring in the good, positive, peace, clarity, lucky energy needed once you clear and remove with sage. It’s very important to use sage first then use palo santo! Many say ANYONE can use both Sage & Palo Santo, it’s about respecting the culture and its people. I am an Indigenous Afro Latina and disagree, I beleive if you are not native or indigenous you shouldnt use them. There is a valid reason it isnt recommended but if you buy it and use it thats on you. If you do just respect our culture, purchase from places that sourced both sage and palo santo properly and respectfully.
